Social Skateboarding iPhone App
The Skateropolis project was the development of a robust social network for skateboarders. The iPhone application and social networking website enabled users to follow friends status updates—similar to Twitter— and chat with each other on the “walls” of over 4000 geo-located skateboard parks around the globe. The iPhone app also enabled users to upload photos and videos of each skatepark and learn about the park specs as well as map the skatepark and get directions etc.
